The anime Mushi-shi consists of 46 episodes and three double-length OVAs. I generally recommend that newcomers watch the series in order of release date. However, Mushi-shi is an anthology, so feel free to watch it out of order.For those living in the US, the first 26 episodes are available on Hulu, and the next 20 episodes (plus the first two OVAs) are available on Crunchyroll. Unfortunately, the final OVA (Bell Droplets) is not currently available on any legal streaming site.NOTE: Both Hulu and Crunchyroll now require a subscription to watch Mushi-shi.
